Andrew Hunt built his first home for he and his wife at age 26. He sold the home two years later in 1998 and started his own construction business after learning all about building homes from his father in law. As a seasoned builder and Cherokee High School and Kennesaw State graduate, Andrew’s love for the industry and local knowledge of the area have proven to be an invaluable resource for both first time home builders and return customers who have become friends. “My favorite part about what I do is interacting with the customers” says Andrew. “I love being on the job site and I know that there is no one more passionate about what we do than my team and me. The work I do is not a job to me.” Along with overseeing the projects, Andrew also spends a majority of his time researching cutting edge techniques in the industry and creating more customer friendly options. In his spare time Andrew is an avid sportsman who enjoys hunting and fishing tournaments.

Mark Started building new homes in 2002, but was involved in and around the industry his entire life. His stepfather was a rock mason and cabinet maker. His favorite part of his job is the fact that each day is different from the one before and that every day has a new challenge. Mark loves seeing a project progress from start to finish and is a people pleaser who likes to see customers happy when their vision comes to life. He is a true Cherokee native who was born in Canton Hospital and grew up in Hickory Flat. His personal style is a traditional, earthy one with natural finishes, but he is happy to deliver everything from traditional to modern. A project that he had the most fun on was a recently completed party barn where “not one thing in that house was typical”.  “Every piece was a specialty piece and it was beautiful to see it come to life.”  When Mark isn’t working he is happy doing anything outdoors.

Liz’s relationship with Hunt Homes started in 2019 when the company built her personal house.  However, her relationship to construction and building goes back much farther. Her father was a second generation builder who frequently oversaw major projects at their family home-even living with the roof removed during one renovation! She spent much of her childhood on job sites and helped with small jobs much to the surprise of one elderly customer questioning “is the roof is a place for little girls?”. Liz thought so and continues to love being on job sites, and being a part of the completion process for large scale projects. She spends her free time traveling and enjoying time with her family and friends.
